Where handmade actually means handmade
Thrilokam began with a simple frustration: it was getting harder and harder to find things that felt genuinely handmade. Everywhere we looked, “handcrafted” had become a marketing word slapped onto factory-made products, which is mass production dressed up in artisan language.
So we set out to build something different: a place where handmade actually means handmade.
What We Offer
Thrilokam brings together four things we believe belong together: bamboo products, handcrafted gifts, spiritual items, and cotton clothing. What connects them isn’t a product category. It’s the way they’re made. Every item on our site is created by hand, by artisans working in traditional Indian techniques specific to their craft and region.
Bamboo Products: These range from home decor to everyday essentials, all shaped from sustainably sourced bamboo using traditional craft techniques.
Handcrafted Gifts: This collection features unique pieces made by skilled Indian artisans, perfect for birthdays, festivals, and thoughtful giving.
Spiritual Items: For those setting up a home altar or daily practice, we offer authentic spiritual items and puja essentials chosen with care and craftsmanship.
Cotton Clothing: Handloom-woven garments, including kurtas, sarees, and ethnic wear, made using techniques passed down through generations.
How We Work
We work directly with makers wherever possible, rather than going through multiple layers of distributors. That means fairer pricing for the artisans and, for you, a clearer picture of exactly who made what you’re buying and how.
We don’t use “handmade” loosely. If a product carries that word on our site, it means a person, not a machine, shaped it. That also means every piece has small natural variations. No two bamboo lamps have identical grain, and no two handloom garments are perfect matches. We consider that a feature, not a flaw.

We’re still early. We’re building out our catalog, working with more artisan communities, and figuring out how to tell each maker’s story properly.

Good to Know
Shipping and Delivery
- Where we ship: across India, to all serviceable pin codes.
- Two fulfilment models:
- Directly stocked items (certain bamboo products, handcrafted gifts, spiritual items, and cotton clothing) are stocked and shipped by us.
- Dropshipped items are fulfilled through partner artisans and suppliers.
- Processing time: all orders, including directly stocked and dropshipped items, are processed within 3–5 business days.
- Delivery time: all items are delivered within 7–12 business days after dispatch. Actual timing depends on your location, weather, and local courier serviceability.
- Shipping charges: shipping is free on all orders across India. No additional shipping charges are added at checkout.
- Tracking: you’ll get a tracking link by email, SMS, or WhatsApp as soon as your order ships.
- Delays: these can happen because of weather, courier issues, supplier delays, or festival-season demand. If your order is significantly delayed, we’ll tell you.
Returns and Refunds
- Return window: 15 days from delivery. The item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as received.
- Natural variations: small differences in color, texture, or finish are part of the handcrafted process and are not defects.
- Handcrafted and handmade items: refunded only if the product arrives broken. A detailed unboxing or damage video is required.
- Spiritual items: refunded only for damage or an incorrect product. An unboxing video is mandatory. Opened or used spiritual items are otherwise non-returnable.
- Not returnable: customized or made-to-order items, final-sale items, and opened or used spiritual items (except for damage or a wrong item).
- How to start a return: email contact@thrilokam.in within the return window with your order number, the reason, and video or photo proof where required.
- Refund timing: refunds go to your original payment method within 7 business days of us receiving the returned item. For dropshipped items, this runs from when the supplier confirms receipt. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
- Return shipping: you cover it, unless the item arrived damaged, broken, or incorrect, in which case we cover it.
- Damaged or incorrect items: contact us within 15 days of delivery with photos, plus a video for handcrafted or spiritual items. We’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost.

Our Commitments
- Every handcrafted and spiritual item is carefully packed to prevent damage in transit.
- We coordinate with our supplier partners so dropshipped items meet the same quality standards as our own stock.
- No hidden charges and no surprise delays without communication.
- Our support team is available at contact@thrilokam.in before, during, and after delivery.
